What is the best department store makeup brand to match for East Indian skin?

1. Vasanti cosmetics is made specifically for ethnic skin. Check out their website (they're Canadian). Three Toronto girls of South Asian (East Indian) descent started the line, basically because they couldn't find any dept. store makeup that worked for their skin colour.

2. You could also try Zhen cosmetics, made for Asian skin tones, but which would also work for you, as the products are yellow-based.

3. Motives cosmetics offers a custom blend foundation, usually at better than dept. store prices, plus you get one-on-one consultation. It's distributed by Market America.

Whatever you do, please avoid using the pink-based drugstore or dept. store brands--they just don't work on yellow/olive toned ethnic skin.

I'd suggest Mary Kay foundation not only because it blends in amazingly with your skin so you can't tell you're wearing it, but also because of the many different shades! I'm a beauty consultant, so let me know if you have more questions. www.marykay.com/adina_kWhat is the best department store makeup brand to match for East Indian skin?
Prescriptives will mix a foundation or tint that matches your personal skin tone. They'll also help you discover which colors for eyes, cheeks and lips will best complement your skin, they're my personal favorite for foundations. Laura Mercier foundations also come in a range of complementary tones and help you achieve that flawless finish.
I would sugguest MAC Studio Make up. You can go to the Malls and where they carry all quality name brand cosmetics. MAC is excellent, and for all types of complexions. Being that you are East Indian, your foundation and face powder should be for yellow skin tones. The majority of Indian Bollywood Stars use MAC Studio Makeup and Sacha Makeup.

Sacha is designed for all ethnic color tones. From light to very dark. Check out the Sacha website, they have East Indian, Latin, Black, White, and Asian models using their make up.

I hope this helps you...let me know how you like their websites.
well east indians have a vast color range-but Becca cosmetics is good and Mac.
