Is there some way for a 13 year old girl could work at some sort of makeup store?

Hi!

Sorry Sal, but sadly not!

Try when you're 16.Is there some way for a 13 year old girl could work at some sort of makeup store?
Im 15 and i have a hard job finding something like that so probably not.Is there some way for a 13 year old girl could work at some sort of makeup store?
It depends on where you live! Certain places allow 13 yr. olds to get working papers and apply for a job while others don't. Also you should talk to the store you want to work for. They could help you with your job application process.
no...unless your family owns the store,,, they may let you work there...
Nope to young
Well, unless you have some type of small business idea I can't see how you would make a lot of money. There is a minimum age which you are allowed to work so a retail job would probably be out of the question for you. Have you thought about getting your first aid and perhaps babysitting? Or maybe offer to do odd jobs for people you know like raking leaves or shovelling snow.
ehh, too young.
Uhmmmm who would want a little kid putting make up on someone also you dont have years of makeup experience so what advice would u give to customers ??????
Sorry, 13 year olds can't legally work in the US. 15 is the youngest but that takes a work permit that is signed by a parent/guardian. Even with that, there are lots of restrictions.
if your country allows 13 year olds to work - just take your resume into the shop or approach the store manager to ask for work and take things from there :).

i am a little concerned though about what a 13 year old wants to do with makeup...
nope...you need to be at least in high school 15 or 16...
unless you own the store, probably not I think you need to be at least 16 yr old to work
I'm thirteen too and if you figure this one out, let me know! As far as I know right now, the minimum age is 15 or 16. Good luck and you can spend the next few years practicing %26amp; getting better.
I think it would depend on the laws regarding legal working age in your state.
Pretty sure you'll have to wait a few years but it's good that you want a job.
nooooo thats to young they wouldnt know the first thing about makeup and how to suit everyones style and 13 year olds shouldnt even wear that much makeup to begin with.
i think theres an age limit...15

dunno
No, usually the youngest age you can be is 15 and that's w/ a workers permit
Heck no, you aren't even the appropriate age to get a lob besides baby sitting.
I don't think 13 but every state has different laws about minors and employment. I have heard as low as 14 except for farming type things and working for your parents.

I think in CA 12 is the youngest working age but there are stipulations as to where they can work and when

Where do you live? You can google legal working age workers permit in any state it should come up with something.

Follow the link under occupational provisions it discusses the national laws as to where children of each age group can work.

well im 15 and i worked over at arden 2 times a week.

they said i was to young. but your 13 so i really dont know. maybe a store near by.

i love makeup and i know lots about it.

You do too i assume........

well yeah if not wait till your a lil older
take a guess! have you ever seen a 13 year old do somebody's make-up? You can volunteer. You'd probably get to like sweep the floor.
I believe you're still too young, girlie. Wait a couple more years.
Unfortunatley there is no way for anyone under the age of 15 to have a job legally. If your family member owns a business there is an exception.
i dont know but im 13 and would love that if you get any helpful answer please email me!! :D
no way!!
for pay, no because it isn't legal for minors to work in the US

However, I once knew some girls who apprenticed for a theatre group. It was a great experience for them.
No, child labor laws prohibit anybody under the age of 14 yrs. working anywhere and actually being clocked for their time (or an offical employee somewhere.) Also most retail stores hire at 16 or 18 yrs.
you may volunteer to help out a couple of hours a week. Tell them that it would be like ... training for a job in the future.

I used to volunteer helping out at my Aunt's mini mart when I was 11. No harm at all, it actually is to my advantage now that I am working. I even got to put it down on my real job application and resume`. That gave me a boost above the other applicants.

Ask a family friend or any connections at all. Mom and Pop shops wouldn't mind the help either.

Don't hesitate, there are a lot of possibilities. You will learn a lot about working a business.

Best of luck to you.
Nope. The only people I've seen working younger than 15, are kids that help out at small family businesses.
Absolutely none little darling now go to bed it would do you some good darling see you soon darling
