Is MAC makeup at department stores cheaper...?

then the actual store? Im going to the mall today which has a MAC store inside and also has a MAC section inside of Macys. Does anyone know if they are the same price or ones better? Thanks!!Is MAC makeup at department stores cheaper...?
MAC Cosmetics is the same price no matter if you go to Macys, Nordstroms, or the actual MAC Store. Now it can be a bit more TAX WISE depending on where you live.





I bought a gloss in DC and was almost a dollar more than where I live in Maryland because of taxes.





If your looking for cheaper or discounted MAC products, you should go to an Outlet Mall where things are cheaper than a regular mall. Over here there is a Saks Outlet Store and they sell all cosmetics including MAC at cheaper prices, but usually they are shades that are being discontinued or limited in number. You can find brushes,cosmetic bags, etc. YOu might find some goodies as well.

I was so angry- I went to the MAC in my local macy's looking for the eyeshadow Passionate, and they didn't sell it there! So now I have to buy it online. They were the same price though as anywhere else
You will get better service and find a better selection at the MAC store. The prices will be the same.

Most times yes but the variety will be limited. Go to both and compare depending on the product you want
They are the same prices but you can get samples of some of their products. Though most of the time they lie and say they dont have sample containers.
They are always the same price. Dont you think that if one was cheaper than the other, that the cheaper one would lose business? All MAC stores keep the same prices, and youll be damned to try and find a sale. Everything is on such high demand that they dont need sales to sell product. Stuff sells like crazy.
It will always be the same price unless they're having a sale of all the holiday sets or something.





The only way you could get anything cheaper is at an outlet store but they won't have a very big selection.





Or on Ebay but they're so many convincing fakes out there now that it's not worth the risk and by the time you've payed the postage it will be the same price.
