My favorite makeup stores/sites are Ulta and Sephora. Ulta has a mix of high end and low end makeup, so you'll be able to find brands like Cover Girl and Maybelline along with Smashbox and Stila. Sephora carries middle and high end makeup, so you'll be able to find Clinique as the least expensive brand, as well as others like Nars and Yves Saint Laurent.

I have to agree with the person who recommended Eyes Lips Face. The majority of their makeup is $1 per piece. They aren't extremely tiny sizes, either. I started using a lot of their products many years ago when I got tired of throwing out my expensive makeup because it was old. Look up the amount of time you should keep makeup before throwing it away (not long at all, in most cases) and buying less expensive stuff is very easily justified!
