Still having a grade 8 crisis! which colour should i use for dress and makeup (canadian stores only)?

ok im about 5.4 size 8 or 9 i have auburn hair a little bit passed my shoulders i'd like a dress that is no longer then my knees i was thinking about a halter-dress Colour's purple red or black i can't choose i saw a few in the sears wish book catalog but cant choose also what kind of bra should i use lol i cannot wear strapless they always fall down on me and if i wear a normal one the straps will show let me know i was thinking about those bras that have the clear straps but i heard they hurt do they?


makeup: what kind of makeup should i use colour of eyeshadow and any tips for eyeliner (because it smudges and knowing me i will prob cry lol) i am aloud to wear any kind of makeup i want like usual as long as i don't look like a raccoon ok let me know and check out my other question regarding my hair thnx

I think you should get a purple or red dress. Black is boring! Dark blue would be pretty too.

Also you should just go to the mall and look around. Le Chateau had lots of cute, knee length dresses last time I was in there and lots of stores will have dresses on sale because they are clearing out their holiday merchandise.





I don't like the clear strap bras because they're shiny and you can still see them, especially in pictures with the flash. If you get a strapless dress just get a strapless bra that's tight and it won't fall down, or look for one with a built in bra. Or if it's a halter get a convertible bra where you can put the straps in different position.





Get waterproof eyeliner and mascara. I cried at my grade 8 grad but I had waterproof makeup on so I was okay. And if you want to be extra careful just put in on your top lid.





edit: It's hard to say an eyeshadow colour without knowing your colouring but if you wear a purple dress you can go with purple eyeshadow. Well first a halter dress might not looks so well mabye an empire waist dress but since i dont know how you loook you just have to try things on to know . for the colour it depends on your skin tone for example if you have light skin and brown hair red will look great, purple is good for light skin and blond or dark skin and brunnette, and black is good on anyone lol for you makeup wear water proof masacra and wear eyeliner depening on your eye colour if its blue then blue eyeliner if you have green eyes then green eyeliner and if you have brown then black eyeliner . to put the eyeliner on there is a grreat video on youtube = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_bJQdOd1hc%26amp;feature=channel_page since you got eyeliner on i think thats all you need you can add some eyeshadow of the same colour or make smocky eyes if you use black eyeliner by using grey and black and kinda smuging . and for your bra i found that sometimes depening on the dress you wont need one beacuse it wont show but if it does the clear through bra straps for fine and even if it hurts it only is a few hours.
