Do department stores give free makeovers at their makeup counters?

I was looking into going to the mall sometime in the near future and getting a makeover at one of the makeup counters in a department store. However, I don't want to pay for anything.

I was wondering what stores, if any, offer free makeovers. Do you have to buy something in order to get the ';free'; makeover?

Thank you for the help.Do department stores give free makeovers at their makeup counters?
They're normally for free. Although some will make you pay a deposit that is redeemable against a purchase. They will try to pressure you to buy after they've finished with you. Just say that you'd like to wear the products for a while and see if you like them, and then you'll go back.Do department stores give free makeovers at their makeup counters?
I'm not too sure, they will try things on you to sell it but to give a full blown makeover I don't think so. MK does though. They will either come to your home, invite you to theirs, invite you to a Pampring session or meet you at a public place. You will first get a facial, Satin lips and hands then color cosmetics, click the link below to set it up.
They do sometimes during special events. Sometimes with purchases they will too. Sometimes its best to go during a slow hour where the artist doesn't have much to work and maybe she/he will do it for you.

You can visit my blog, I post a lot of intersting things abut makeup that may be of interst to you.
