Will makeup stores exchange cracked or broken makeup?

Will Nars in the Bay exchange a cracked eyeshadow I bought there for a new one? I dont have the reciept, and I bought it a while ago..around 4 months ago..Will makeup stores exchange cracked or broken makeup?
You can repair a broken powder eyeshadow or blush, or convert a pigment powder to a pressed eyeshadow. There are some videos on YouTube which illustrate this.

hmm if you had the receipt you might be able to try but since it was also 4 months ago i don't think they'd let you exchange it anyway. I think you could probably only get away with it within a week of purchasing it if it's cracked. All i can say is go buy another one or deal with what you have.
Why would you buy it if it was cracked in the first place?

if the eye shadow is still available to purchase here's an idea my mother used that's great for after the holidays. she went into the store after accidentally dropping some chanel eye shadow and very nicely told the woman she gave it to me in my christmas stocking and the stocking fell off the mantle - so when i opened it it was cracked. the lady was more than willing to exchange it for her.

no they will not, i dont know any stores that will change an item for another item, well without a recipet :D
Without the receipt, probably not, because you can't prove it was cracked when you bought it. If it cracked after you purchased it, then it's on you and they have no obligation to replace it. Sorry.
