Can you get herpes from using the free makeup at stores?

my friend and i were in victorias secret and we were using the lipgloss but on a different brush but we still used the tube. and i used some eyeshadow and eyeliner. can my friend and i get herpes or std?Can you get herpes from using the free makeup at stores?
You can get the Herpes Simplex Virus which is basically your common cold sore. If you have a cold sore (oral herpes) you can transmit it to the genitals of someone else and then it becomes an STD. However, for the purpose of using a lipstick and getting oral herpes, it is not an STD.





Since you used a brush, your chances are slimmer but all sorts of factors come into play with cross contamination. If anyone who had a cold sore used the wand in the tube, or double dipped their brush then yes you could contract oral herpes.Can you get herpes from using the free makeup at stores?
