Here in Dallas at least you can buy the Bare Minerals (brand name: Bare Escentuals) makeup at Ulta Cosmetics. According to their website there are 2 locations in Kentucky

Not sure on stores, but I use Bare Minerals and buy it from QVC.com. I think you can check www.bareminerals.com for local store info. You can buy samples of the stuff on ebay for like $5 too. Don't be afraid of the high price. The stuff lasts forever.
I'm now using Neutrogena's Mineral Powder Make-Up. You just tap and put it on. Just give it a try, it's not that expensive. I got mine from Rite-Aid. You can also buy it at Wal-Mart or Sav-On Stores.

I get my Bare Escentuals on eBay, and pay about half as much as elsewhere. You can also buy sample sizes to ';try'; different colors.
